SHANA'S works and designs

My current project: A childrens book

I am trying to make my first ever book that challenges my ability with time management, production skills and communication skills with the end result being a physical product I intend to either sell or donate to my local church.

01

Fantasy Character Illustrations

Welcome to my personal ongoing project, showcasing a vibrant collection of personal character concepts and illustrations crafted to push the boundaries of depth, contrast, colour theory, and dynamic character interaction. This series of works not only highlights my growth as a digital artist but also lays the creative foundation for exciting future projects and Illustrations!

SansGlasses

Sansglasses was a font concept project made to be developed for people with astigmatism or similar visual problems without always needing their visual aids to read. Using detailed recorded field notes and personal observation, the font was designed so that the observed and recorded “word fuzz“ could be used purposefully within the design to bleed into itself rather than to the letter or word next to it.

03

StretchNRest Concept App

This brief required the development of a concept app to accommodate the clients personal sleeping and stress issues which was gathered through ethnographic research interview data, which prompted me to design with simple but understandable semiotics through rounded shapes and designs. StretchNRest was developed with simple colours to prevent visual sensory overload for the client.

It was made with Figma, Adobe Illustrator and a Behance page to go into further depth, paired with a demo, and a hand animated video to go with the app and how it was supposed to be used.

Who Am I?

Welcome to my site! I am a Graphic Designer, and an ever developing Illustrator.

I always seek improvement, especially if it's something new and exciting for me to try out! I find a lot of enjoyment in developing different logos and branding, as well as creating hand made illustrations and animations!

My Illustrated work usually appear textured, bright and fully shaded. However I am not confined to that style! I just prefer it as I find it more interesting than clean line art (as it is slightly out of the norm!).

But overall I find my designs adapt to the task at hand.
